Our story
A small manufacturer and exporter making printed dresses for independent UK boutiques. Wholesale only.
Surat is India’s printed-fabric city. Thousands of metres of printed viscose and cotton leave its mills every day, most of it for orders of thousands of pieces.
Independent boutiques work differently. You know your customers by name, you buy a few pieces of each style, and the last thing you want is the same dress in every shop on the high street.
So we built Ruvelle around small runs: 30 pieces to start, each print limited to six boutiques a season, and a £39 sample pack so you can judge the fabric before you commit.
The name
Ruvelle blends rūp, the Hindi word for beauty and form, with the French elle: beautiful dresses, made for her, from the printing city of Surat.
How a dress is made
01
Your chosen design is printed onto viscose or cotton in Surat, colour-matched to your approved sample.
02
Fabric is cut to our graded UK 8–16 patterns, so every size fits the same way.
03
Each dress is sewn, smocked or tiered, then finished with fibre and care labels.
04
We check seams, print placement and measurements, and send you photos and a video.
05
Pressed, folded and packed by size, with the origin declaration on the invoice.
From the founder
I started Ruvelle in 2026 to bring Surat’s printed dresses to independent UK boutiques, in runs small enough to test and reorder.
Every quote, every date and the photos of your finished order come from me, not a sales desk. If something isn’t right, I’ll tell you before you hear it from a courier.
